Job Description

The Role  

This role involves emergency response and attending on site at oil and chemical spills globally, delivering advice to international governments and other parties. You will be assessing claims for compensation, undertaking regular presentations, and running workshops as part of our preparedness and education work. 

 Skills and Experience 

The key requirements of this role include: a higher degree in science, engineering or a related discipline, strong written and oral presentation skills and excellent interpersonal skills; as well as availability to travel at emergency short notice. 

An academic background in chemistry, relevant practical experience in a scientific/technical role and pollution control experience are distinct advantages for this role.

Fluency in a second language to English is of interest, preferably Mandarin. Competency in Malay, Bahasa Indonesia, Japanese or Korean are also of interest.
