Description of the job
The Communications Manager, Creative, is part of the Communications Team at Pacific Environment. The role involves executing communication strategies and designing digital and print content for campaigns related to climate change, plastic production and pollution, ocean conservation, and protecting the Arctic. You will design and produce engaging digital materials such as social media content, e-newsletters, creative content for paid advertising, event materials, and branded giveaway items.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and produce engaging digital and print materials for Pacific Environment’s campaigns.
- Work closely with the Communications Team to develop and implement creative content strategies.
- Create visual content, including graphics, video, and multimedia for social media, websites, and campaigns.
- Collaborate with the team to produce print materials such as reports, flyers, and event materials.
- Manage content creation for paid advertising and branded giveaway items (e.g., T-shirts, signage, brochures).
- Ensure that all content reflects the core values of Pacific Environment and its campaigns.
Requirements
- Five (5) or more years of relevant experience in digital communications, with increasing responsibility.
- Proven ability to produce compelling visual content, including graphics, video, and multimedia.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Experience engaging supporters and collaborating with partners and coalitions.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere, or similar multimedia programs.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with WordPress and Every Action is a plus.
- Commitment to the values of Pacific Environment required.
Location
Remote, with a preference for U.S.-based candidates
Salary
$80,000 to $90,000 annually
