Job Description

Tasks

Supporting project management and administration, including:
  • developing work plans and conducting desk research.
  • organising, and participating in meetings and events (in-person & online), including taking minutes and, where necessary, overseeing logistics.
  • proofreading and translating project outputs from English into German
Supporting project communications, including:
  • Social media management (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter).
  • Website content development and management.
  • Simple graphic design, including social media visuals.
  • Development of presentations, videos, podcasts, brochures, and newsletters.
  • Arranging and attending visits to external partners such as schools to promote project outputs.
Managing relationships with project partners and external providers as it relates to the above tasks.
 
 
Requirements
 
  • You are resident in Germany and enrolled in university for the duration of the employment, preferably 1 year or longer.
  • You are a native-level German speaker with excellent writing skills, and you are proficient in English.
  • Digital native with good knowledge of the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and able to create attractive digital content (e.g. Canva, InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • You can digest and summarise complex information into clear and concise messages, tailored to different target audiences.
  • You are a fast learner with an agile mindset and can easily switch between conflicting tasks and priorities. You are proactive and solution oriented.
  • You are motivated, flexible, and open-minded, and feel comfortable in a multicultural environment. You communicate effectively and enjoy working together with colleagues and project partners.
  • A general understanding of European political processes and institutions, especially around ​​sustainability, climate and environmental protection is a plus, but not mandatory.
