Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to enhance visibility and engagement for the SUBMARINER Network and sPro Sustainable Projects.

Align activities with project managers working on communications work packages, providing guidelines and setting standards.

Implement and advance knowledge management practices, ensuring that organisational insights, project learnings, and communication resources are systematically captured, curated, and shared to strengthen internal alignment and external impact.

Manage, oversee and implement the content creation process for websites, social media platforms, newsletters, videos and press releases.

Monitor and analyse communication metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and optimise future activities.

Develop and manage a communications budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies are implemented.

Support project proposals, implementation and reports with high-quality communication inputs and dissemination plans.

Ensure high quality and brand consistency across all digital and print communications, adhering to established guidelines; developing and improving guidelines and resources for staff members.

Provide training and support to team members to ensure effective communication within and outside the organisation.

Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field or an equivalent in practical experience.

At least 5 years of experience in the field of Communications.

Proven experience in a communications role within sustainability, environmental projects, or international networks.

Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills, with attention to detail.

Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms, including content management systems (e.g. WordPress) and social media management tools.

Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Proficiency in graphic design and multimedia tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is an advantage.

Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse, cross-functional team.

Excellent written and spoken English (additional European languages are a plus).
