Are you an Aquafeed expert looking to make a difference?

Remote role based in Europe / UK / Netherlands. However, candidates from other locations may also be considered.

Circa 50,000 to 60,000 Euros p/a varying based on location, experience, and skills.

Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) is driving the world’s leading certification programme for responsibly farmed seafood. We are looking for an Aquafeed specialist to join our global team to coordinate the effective technical delivery of our ASC Feed Programme.

  • Are you passionate about driving improvements and increased understanding of sustainable feed standards across the Aquaculture space?
  • Can you pro-actively manage multiple workstreams to review and revise feed related requirements? i.e. feed efficiency metrics, transitioning to deforestation / conversion free supply chains and sourcing from responsibly managed fisheries.
  • Do you have experience developing technical tools and guidance for; aquafeed, standards, due diligence?
  • Can you take scientific or audit data and analyse this in detail to suggest improvements for future revision of our standards?

This role will directly support our global Feed and Standards teams to support our, recently released, new ASC Feed Standard https://asc-aqua.org/producers/asc-standards/feed-standard/

You will need to be able to work on your own initiative, have good understanding of feed sustainability issues and understand due diligence/risk assessment approaches within supply chains.

You will be pro-active with exceptional project coordination skills, to manage various workstreams at once. We are seeking a ‘hands-on’ approach with an ability to translate technical information and data into impactful standards.
