4ocean is on a mission to save the world's oceans, and we are looking for a Social Media Director located in Boca Raton, Florida, to help us advance our cause.

The Social Media Director position is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive social

media strategies to enhance 4ocean's online presence, engage with our global community, and drive revenue growth.


As a 4ocean Social Media Director, you’ll be responsible for leading the development and execution of all social media strategies that align with 4ocean’s mission and business goals. You will oversee the social media team, manage content creation, and utilize analytics to optimize performance and achieve measurable growth across all social media channels.


  • Develop and execute innovative social media strategies to grow 4ocean's online presence and drive revenue.
  • Manage the internal content creation team, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
  • Collaborate with the content creation team to capitalize on urgent social trends.
  • Create and oversee engaging, high-quality content that resonates with our target audience and promotes our mission.
  • Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns, making data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
  • Develop and manage campaigns with content creators, influencers, and ambassadors.
  • Routinely communicate with global ocean cleanup teams to develop stories, content, and campaigns.
  • Work closely with the VP of Marketing and Creative Director to create social campaigns that support product, partnership, and brand initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a senior social media role, preferably in a media-first, mission and storytelling-driven organization.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage an international team.
  • Excellent understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
  • Demonstrate ability to create and implement strategies that drive engagement and revenue growth.
