  • Collaborate with governments, local communities, institutions, and other relevant stakeholders in line with defined expedition objectives;
  • Coordinate expedition outreach efforts with the communication team to disseminate results and raise public awareness about marine conservation issues;
  • Continuously supervise operations during expeditions, ensuring proper functioning of all elements and conducting necessary briefings (except scientific ones);
  • Coordinate actions to advocate for marine conservation at local, national, and international levels, raising awareness about the importance of Marine Protected Areas and promoting sustainable practices;
  • Acts as one of the spokespersons of the company, effectively communicating its vision and initiatives to a wide range of national and international stakeholders, including policymakers, the media, and the general public, raising awareness, work and garnering support for marine conservation efforts;
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact and effectiveness of expeditions, using data and metrics to drive continuous improvement and inform strategic decision-making;
  • Report the status and budget execution.

  • Proven experience in designing, managing, and implementing large-scale operations or events, preferably scientific expeditions;
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to effectively plan, coordinate, and execute complex initiatives, work with contractors and stakeholders, and manage teams with different backgrounds;
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage and collaborate with stakeholders, communities, and diverse teams;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions;
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English, in both oral and written forms;
