Reporting to the Canadian Service Manager, in this role you will be providing marine-based maintenance services for our Life Support products, including maintenance services for diesel engines and generators.

This Role responsible for:
• Providing maintenance services of our aeration and oxygenation systems; including engines,
compressors, pumps, separators, controllers, and valves.
• Maintaing normal operation of our Life Support Systems (FlowpressorTM, OxypressorTM, and
Depth Charge.
• Troubleshooting, and performing repairs and calibrations of our integrated systems following
Poseidon’s operating procedures and standards.
• Ability to understand and execute work orders and plan accurately.
• File field service reports for preventive maintenance and emergencies in timely manner.
• Collaborating with Headquarters on scheduling of maintenance trips, keeping clear records and
reporting of field failures.
• Manage the service reporting and documentation process, as well as technical support for
• Provide assistance with customer troubleshooting via telephone or email.
• Manage service tool inventories.
• Participate in the hiring process of new technicians.
• Be a mentor and trainer to help the development of other colleagues as and when required.
• Adherence to safe work practices and knowledge of safety rules and regulation.
• Flexibility to perform other duties as required.
• Strong ability to solve problems on the fly
• Ability to work alone and with a team

Skills & Required Experience:
• Knowledge of salmon farming operations an asset.
• Marine based experience an asset.
• Possess a UK driving license along with a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive to remote service locations as needed.
• Computer skills relating to Microsoft suit of products, with experience in ERP systems an asset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 Years of Experience as a heavy-duty mechanic or commercial truck mechanic
• Previous experience servicing and troubleshooting engines and compressors
• Journeyman with certification as “Modern Apprenticeship” SCQF Level 5 – Heavy Duty Mechanic
• Knowledge of air flow in and troubleshooting on compressor installations
• Strong understanding of safety practices when working on equipment (i.e. Lockout/ Tagout)
• Knowledge of standard safety practices when operating power tools (electric and pneumatic).

Benefits: Standard 5.6 weeks of vacation. Commensurate with experience
Salary Range: 55,000£-65,000£ per annum. Commensurate with experience
