Sustainable Ocean and Reefs Internship Description This unique internship takes place in the Florida Keys and is hosted by Sustainable Ocean and Reefs Inc. (SOAR). We are seeking one intern who will embark on a journey of hands-on, immersive training and activities focused on invertebrate reef grazers and reef restoration. Additionally, the intern will gain valuable experience in research and development. This internship session will begin in September and run for 4 to 6 months, depending on the candidate’s preference. We promote fair, transparent and sustainable grid development to enable the growth of renewables to achieve full decarbonisation in line with the Paris Agreement. At RGI, we are convinced that the energy, climate and biodiversity crises can and should be tackled in parallel. In this context, we are increasing our activities related to the protection and restoration of nature in connection with the energy transition – particularly the deployment of renewable energy sources (RES) and electricity grids, both on land and at sea. In 2020, RGI established a multi-stakeholder platform called the Offshore Coalition for Energy and Nature ( OCEaN ).
