Description of the job Reef Renewal Foundation Bonaire (RRFB) seeks an experienced and motivated Coral Lab Coordinator to lead operations in their newly established land-based Coral Lab. This is a unique opportunity to play a central role in scaling up coral breeding and restoration efforts in the Dutch Caribbean. RRFB is a non-profit organization that aims to strengthen and restore vulnerable coral populations on Bonaire. In collaboration with research partners and regional practitioners, the organization uses research-based techniques to increase the abundance and genetic diversity of vulnerable coral populations via fragmentation and coral breeding. With the help of 17 partner dive operators and a dedicated team of volunteers, RRFB has collectively outplanted over 70,000 corals back to the reef, covering an area of over 13,000 square meters.
