I have a degree in Marine Sciences and a master's degree in Biodiversity and Ecosystem Conservation from the University of Valencia. I am currently a PhD student in marine and coastal sciences and technologies at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. I am passionate about the ocean, especially algae, and their conservation and identification.
I have spent my whole life close to the water, specifically, diving the Mediterranean coasts, and seeing how, year after year, they have been degraded by human action. This was the main reason why I decided to study Marine Sciences, with the aim of saving the oceans, or at least having the necessary tools to be able to explain to the world the importance of the oceans and to know how to conserve and protect them. Thanks to the degree I was able to learn about the oceans in all their aspects, biologically, chemically, physically and geologically. This, together with the knowledge received during the master's degree, mainly focused on restoration and conservation of ecosystems, has turned me into a capable, restless person, eager to learn more about the oceans.
This passion for the oceans and life in general motivates me every day to teach others in order to generate new passions. My previous job, at Métode magazine, allowed me to develop new skills to explain new findings in science in a simple and understandable way. My current customer-facing job has helped me to learn how to work with people. I am eager to learn and above all to be able to teach what I know. Thank you very much for taking the time to read this letter. If you find it convenient, I will be happy to tell you more.
I am a customer service employee at TellmeGen where I am involved in resolving queries and providing support to customers of the genetics company. This involves helping with genetic test kits, explaining results and ensuring customer satisfaction.
