I bring 25 years of experience working with the Colombian maritime authority, where I served as a scientific researcher at both the Caribbean and Pacific oceanographic-and-hydrographic research institutes. During my tenure, I had the privilege of directing both institutes from 2007 to 2015.
My approach to problem-solving is characterized by a blend of detailed analysis and flexible, pragmatic strategies. I thrive on innovation, constantly seeking novel solutions while maintaining alignment with our core objectives. My awareness of personal limitations drives me to learn from others and independently explore new avenues.
In high-pressure and complex situations, I maintain a calm and decisive demeanor, ensuring efficient resolution. My confidence extends to intercultural environments, where I excel in public speaking. As a leader, I prioritize loyalty to goals, collaborative partnerships, and fair treatment of subordinates.
