I participated in several educational and training programs, besides my educational courses, focused on environmental awareness and sustainability.

At the Lisbon Zoo Educational Center, I engaged in an immersive workshop titled "Biodiversity: Educate to Conserve," emphasizing environmental education.

I also took part in the Blended Intensive Programme in Maritime Spatial Planning in Practice (BIP MSPP) at the University of the Azores, which introduced MSP at social, economic, and environmental levels, utilizing the geographical information system - Seasketch tool.

Additionally, I attended the "Jornadas do Mar IV" at the ICBAS - Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences, featuring workshops and lectures on the blue economy, marine sustainability, and ocean science.

As a young scientist with APECS Portugal - Association of Polar Early Carrer Scientist, I contributed to science communication by writing an article on strengthening the connection between science and politics.

At the Eco Summer Camp held at the Lassalle Institute in Switzerland, I discussed topics such as environmental economics, ecology, and policy in the context of global change, fostering peer and group work.
