I’m conducting my Ph.D. research on studying the thermal state of the lithosphere associated with rift tectonic environments through the analysis and modeling of marine heat flow and other petrophysical measurements and their affection on sediments due to sill emplacement.
Contributed to the Global Heat Flow Database Project by updating Mexico's terrestrial and marine heat flow data for the International Heat Flow Commission (IHFC) survey.
Instructed the course "Geo-Mathematical Methods" for graduate students.
Instructed the course "Geo-Mathematical Methods" for graduate students.
Adquisition and monitoring of geophysical and marine heat flow data in Antarctica as part of the research project 'Lithospheric Structure and Geodynamics of the Powell-Drake-Bransfield Rift (ELGeoPower)' aboard the R/V Sarmiento de Gamboa.
I have participated in three oceanographic campaigns, assisting in acquiring marine heat flow measurements and monitoring geophysical data.
Also, I attended the heat flow summer school at the GFZ, Potsdam, Germany.
