Brianna is a coral biologist, recognized for leading the global field engagement team for the Allen Coral Atlas (allencoralatlas.org) at the National Geographic Society and Arizona State University. Her expertise includes coastal and marine management, community engagement, coral reef restoration, and knowledge sharing. She has presented at numerous international conferences and marine workshops including the United Nations Ocean Conference, the International Coral Reef Symposium, and IMPAC5. She also dove into Virtual Reality film production as a National Geographic Explorer. She currently co-leads a marine technical capacity building project with Kenya Marine Fisheries and Wildlife (KMFRI) and 4 other NGOs along the Swahili coast as part of a Commonwealth Incubator project.
