I am a Fisheries Engineer with a Master Degree and a Doctor Degree both on Fisheries Resources, besides a Postgraduate Degree on Safety Engineering. Currently, I am working as an HSE Advisor in a seismic survey in Brazil. I have also experience as Environmental Technician Offshore and, Environmental Analyst.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•
Provide environmental training onboard according to the current legislation (PEAT - Worker’s Environmental Education Project)
•
Support Chief Officer and Chief Engineer with waste management, all related paperwork and logistics (PCP - Pollution Control Project)
•
Contact and interview fishing vessel inside the survey area to provide safety information and record the communication (PCS - Social Communication Project)
•
Take action and provide information to the shore team about birds onboard (PMAVE - Birds Monitoring Project)
•
Be responsible for all safety reports to the client (Petrobras)
•
Make sure crew is qualified and trained by attending worksites, meetings and training sessions
•
Ensure vessel is following all current safety legislations, standards and procedures applied to the operations
Duties and Responsibilities:

Participation in environmental education projects, involving awareness among bathers about the turtle nesting season on the coast of Paulista city and environmental education lectures in public schools
•
Organization and participation in events involving the birth of turtles
•
Analysis of environmental licensing processes

Management of all documents of the company's quality system
•
Development and update of procedures from all company’s departments
•
Control of internal and external correspondence
•
Participation in internal and external audits

Participate in Daily Operations Meetings and provide QHSE information to Departments Heads
•
Provide safety, occupational health and environmental advices and guidance for the crew on-board
•
Make sure crew is qualified and trained by attending worksites, meetings and training sessions
•
Ensure vessel is following all current legislations, standards and procedures applied to the operations
•
Perform and assist crew during internal and external audits
•
Follow up accident investigations and preventive / corrective action items
Fluent in English and Portuguese (native language).
Proficient user of MS Office.
