Growing up near the southern coastline of Portugal set it up for me - I've known from an early age that I aim to work in the marine field. My passion lies in three different areas: (1) Environmental consulting, (2) Data analysis, and (3) Science communication.
I have studied Marine Biology (BSc) and Ecology (MSc - incomplete) in Portuguese Faculties, as well as seabird ecology at UNIS (the world's northernmost institution, in Svalbard, Norway). Aside from my studies, I have taken part in several activities, ranging from organizing beach clean-ups and assisting oceanography and ecology field work campaigns, to preparing school lectures, creating social media content and speaking at international conferences.
Throughout my experience I've gathered strong personal skills, from which I highlight proactivity, organization, communication and time management.
At the moment, I am fully dedicated to start my career in consulting.
