CWI is a registered charity internationally known for its marine mammal science, entangled whale response, outreach and education with fishing and shipping industries, coastal communities, and government policymakers. The ideal candidate will have completed a BSc in biology, marine biology, environmental sciences, or a related field and have a minimum of two years' experience. A MSc is considered an asset. Marine mammal research activities will include preparations for and participation in monitoring surveys at sea on board small (< 10 meters in length, day trips) or larger vessels (17-20 meters in length, multi-day trips), daily processing of survey data, data management, and preparation of reports and publications.
