Our Ocean Mission is to safeguard the Ocean through law by judicially enforcing Ocean protection obligations (Ocean Litigation), advocating for the inherent rights of the Ocean (Ocean Rights), offering pro bono support to Indigenous and oceanic communities (Ocean Guardianship), and disseminating specialised legal expertise through educational tools (Ocean Literacy). In collaboration with our partners, we strive to realise our Ocean Vision—a world where the Ocean and marine species flourish, safeguarded by globally recognised and enforced legal rights.
