Blue Alliance Marine Protected Areas

Blue Alliance co-manages Marine Protected Areas to regenerate threatened coral reef biodiversity and we create blue economy solutions to alleviate poverty and generate long-term income for conservation. With local partners and communities, we co-manage 110 Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) in Indonesia, the Philippines and Tanzania-preserving 1,700,000 ha of high-biodiverse coral reefs, protecting more than 70 endangered species and improving the livelihoods of more than 20,000 coastal community members.
