Description of the job Lisaqua is recruiting a PhD candidate as part of the European doctoral project Switchfloc, funded by the European Union (Marie Curie Doctoral Network). The PhD will be carried out within Lisaqua's unique indoor shrimp farm in Nantes (Saint-Herblain), France, under real production conditions. The contract duration is 36 months. The Switchfloc project gathers 13 academic and private partners offering complementary knowledge in fish and shrimp production, feed manufacturing, aquaculture engineering, and Biofloc Technology (BFT). A total of 11 PhD candidates will be recruited to carry out research projects on different aspects of biofloc technology.
