The main duties are in the DTO4OWE (Digital Twin of the Ocean for Offshore Wind Energy) project funded by the Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership, which brings together institutes from 9 different countries to study Digital Twins of the Baltic and North Seas for Offshore Wind Energy. The main task is numerical modelling of the Baltic Sea to study the effects of offshore wind energy. This will include development and validation of the NEMO ocean model for the Baltic Sea.
