Description of the job This fully funded studentship is part of an Industry-led project focusing on the production nori from Irish Porphyra species. Nori species are edible red seaweeds with a high commercial value. The Marine Institute-funded NORI project aims to develop nori production based on Irish species. Contributing to this broader goal, objectives of this particular MSc project are to assess the chemical composition and nutritional value of nori biomass (conchocelis and blade phases) produced under different culture conditions.
